I really wanted to love this, but it fell totally flat to me. I felt no connection to the characters, and I didn't really feel any
between the characters either. Matt had a closer connection to Evan's kids than he did to Evan himself. And the whole part with James just felt completely off. Like he was shoved in there for the sole purpose of introducing him for the next book, but all it really achieved in this one was seriously annoying me. I'll be taking a pass on the rest of this trilogy, I think. :",,,,,,0,,,
