Confessions of a Bookworm

Captain's Fury - Jim Butcher I'm remembering all the things I love about these books, the further I get, but I'm also finding more and more things I wish they had, as well. Certain character interactions (mostly reactions to events and revelations during the books), for instance, that I would kill to see but that are always skipped over thanks to the time jump between books. We also miss a lot of actual character development, I think, not getting to see the spaces of time between all the crazy action. Things like that seemed more noticeable in this book, but for all that, it still is a wonderful continuation to the story, and we really get to see Tavi come into his own here.
